Have a little rust I would like to remove. Tried some naval jelly but didn't make a dent! Used some steel wool, but hardly any results. Looking for suggestions before I go overboard and ruin something! I have seen the same type of rust in other pics so there must be a solution. Thanks.

You will get many different ideas on "how to remove rust".
But the real question is what are you going to do to keep it from coming back? After the surface of the chrome has been penetrated by the rust, you are going to need to find a way to refinish the surface. "Real re-Chroming" is prohibitively expensive. Powder coating is a good option for anything that does not get close to the 400 degree melting point of the powder coat which is plastic. The cheapest (actually still not cheap) way would be to sand the surface, and use a "two part" epoxy primer, then shoot it with a color of your choice, using a hardener in the paint.
The condition of the appliances, the window frame condition, and having all the hardware (with a title) is the determining items that I use to make my decision about which trailer to buy. It's just too expensive to restore, or replace some of these items.

John is right but you might try to paint it.
With rust this bad, sand it down and paint with Rustoleum Hammered silver. Not beautiful but passable. The only other solution is re-chroming, which simple isn't worth it.

I'll suggest looking around for a replacement stove, or another stove with unrusted parts that you could swap to this stove. At least in my area there is always a couple available on Craigslist.

Hi, I don't know where you live but I have a real terrific Princess stove (brown with hood and back splash) in great shape not any rust but a little on sides and back that does not show. Only asking $200. Pers. Message me

Great job. I love your stove and hood. A couple of cuties sitting at your table, too. I bet they are in heaven there. My parents had a small trailer that was hardwired on the lot next to us when I was young and I loved it. It felt like a giant dollhouse to me.

Susie the range hood in the picture was painted to match the existing turquoise stove. And that silver high heat paint is no where near open flames so it should last forever. Lance..I removed the stove knobs and painted the rusted metal behind them too. To me, your stove is salvagable as long as it works.

Quick Glo is a great product "for removing rust, and grime". We sold it in our shop "over fifty years ago", it's been around a long time.
But........it will not stop the rust from coming back. If the rust has penetrated the chrome, it's just a period of time before the rust returns.
The best product that I have used to coat bare metal, and prevent it from rusting is called Gibbs Oil, and it comes in a spray can. It's about $12/can and if you ever find a place that has it, try a couple of cans. I use it for all kinds of shop use. Very good stuff.
