Check the frame really well. Axles too. Make sure it's not bent in the middle. Is the frame boxed? Probably not. You can run a plumb line from front to rear underneath and pull it tight to see if it's bent or not and how much. I like the stove. Does it have a glass window in the oven door? Those are my favorite type of cabinet door latches. They shine up really nice with 4 ott steel wool.
Anything under $1000 these days is not a lot of money to pay for any trailer. It's a matter of if that's the trailer you want. And do you want to do the necessary work?

Thanks for the reply. The hard thing for me to judge is just what I am getting into. The windows seem to have a gasket seal rather than putty, and the seals around the glass are hard and cracked, I'm sure they need to be replaced. I also have no idea what kind of framing it has or how much it weighs. A new roof on a trailer this size would be $$$. It looks like a new sub floor and tile was added on top of the original, so I'm sure there is floor damage, but you can't see the floor from underneath.
Thanks for the tip on the frame. I will check that out. The axle seems really small, but no obvious bends and only surface rust. It will also need work on the brakes and electric as the brake wire is disconnected and it has a flat four wire connection.
This is the exact opposite of my current renovation project. This one would be a restoration. Any ideas on how the exterior would be treated? I can't tell if it was shiny, I think not.

It would be a lot of work that's for sure. And yes if it needs a new metal top skin that would be a bit of money. Looks like it was painted. One thing I don't like is the cap rails. I'd much rather work on a trailer that has J rail. Cap rail leaks much sooner so usually there is more damage in the corners than normal.
