The seller is asking $2300 for this 1964 Traveleze. What are your thoughts on condition and price? They are telling me the stove and refrigerator both work. I haven't looked at it in person yet, still working on the hubby. He says they want too much! Oh and "We don't need another project". Does anyone see any sagging that might mean water damage? I know it's hard to tell from these pics. It always amazes me what the veterans can tell just from looking at the outside.

Condition is average, meaning it needs a lot of work.
Not enough exterior photos to tell whats up RE: sags. Rear? Street Side?
Also not enough of the interior to see any water damage.
Expect repairs and inspect carefully.

It probably came with the turquoise or teal appliances, but the stove looks like it has been repainted, IMO. That might be a small factor, but to me that would be important. Overall, it's a big gawdy thing, and I like it, but the style isn't as popular as the little petite ones. So if you plan on selling it once restored, you might want to pass. If it's what you want for your personal use, I say go for it. I would try negotiating a lower price; but if you truly want it, it's worth to you whatever you're willing to pay.

After two years surfing ebay and craigslist as a hobby just to see what's for sale, I have drawn a few conclusions.
Setting aside personal preferences...
1955-1962 (more or less) are the most in demand.
Small campers seem to always sell fast. The longer the camper, the fewer buyers.
Rounded canned hams sell for higher prices (and much faster) than the box styles.
The amber woodwork is always the most coveted.
People love certain brands, like Shasta or Westener, no matter how they were built.
And as somebody above mentioned, there is always water damage. Bring an ice pick or screw driver and poke around.
With all that said, the price seems a little high to me. Ask yourself, if you put $1000 or $2000 or $3000 into it, will it be money you'll never see again when you sell. If you don't plan to sell it anytime soon, that may not matter much.
And if you are going to take it on as a project, you have to love it.
Do you Love it?
