Hi everyone! I just purchased a 1972 Aristocrat Lo-Liner and have some questions regarding the interior paneling. It appears that the previous owner used some "twisty nails/screws" on sections of the paneling. I assume it was to keep it in place or something although the paneling does not appear to be damaged and/or lifting/bulging. I was wanting to remove these nails and patch the holes but am sort of concerned that the paneling will fall down or sag, I mean otherwise why else would they put the nails in it. Is there anyway to secure the paneling if it starts to fall when I remove the nails? Perhaps a glue I can squirt through the holes into the support? Just to clarify this is the faux wood paneling with vinyl wood grain texture (I think). Here is a picture of the paneling for reference, did not get pictures specifically of the nails:

Some trailers came from the factory with nails in the paneling. You can always paint the heads if they are bothering you. I wouldn't remove them, especially if they are Twisties-they cause damage on the way out.

Judging by the location I was thinking they were done by previous owner. They run about 4-5 inches above the windows in the front and right along the edge of where the paneling meets the kitchenette wallpaper. The are sort of domed heads so they kind of stick out.

They will be where ever the support framing is behind the panel. Which could be anywhere.
