It's coming up on the time for the NuWa where I need to begin gathering the components for the 110v and 12v systems. I have Moeller's book on RV electrical systems, but I wonder if it's getting a bit dated as far as manufactures, etc.
The job is a total re-wire, as there was nothing usable in the camper. This is my wife's glamper, so it will use shore power almost exclusively. Even so, I want to have a 12v system for at least the interior and exterior lighting and some other small stuff.
For the 110v, current plans are for a small window AC (mounted under a bench inside the camper,) microwave, minifridge, at least three interior 110 duplex receptacles, and an exterior 110 duplex receptacle.
The 12v would power interior and exterior lights, at least 1 12v receptacle, and possibly a hood fan and a vent fan.
I guess the main components, not including fixtures, are the 30 amp inlet, breaker box, converter/charger, 12v fuse panel, and battery or batteries. Are there any other major components I should consider?
I am fairly comfortable assembling this gear myself, and also have a few professional electrician friends to inspect and test my work.
I would really appreciate advice on building this system in a cost-effective--but safe--manner. I am looking for any and all advice: component brands, things you would do or not do again, tricks and tips, safety warnings, anything. Thanks!

Just a thought, but since you are using a mini fridge (bar fridge), you may want to add an inverter to power it while on the road....

Thanks. An inverter would be a good idea for several reasons. It's on the list.

Remember trailers use a different ground system than a house on the 110. Look under electrical 110 for several good post with the proper instructions and diagrams.

Will do. Grounding is good.
