They are using air bags to accomplish the Low Rider look now.

I guess its nice not to have to step up into the trailer......This low rider fad is a bit much for me. Many of these cars would skid out of control if they had a blowout, due to the frame hitting the ground. Very dangerous

At the show we were at last weekend, there was an Aristocat on bags. It won the shows first ever trailer award. Of course, the hot rod group sponsoring the show is all about bags.

I have to admit that I'm not a Low Rider type of car guy.
But they do build some of the nicest, straightest, well built custom cars that I have seen. They "earned their place" in the car culture, and I see no reason they could not also build nice quality on the trailer side. Besides, we have not yet established a very high bench mark for our work on our own trailers, so lets keep an open mind.

The fun thing to do would be to walk by and say look that poor guys springs are broke and he doesn't have the money to fix it, of course with a totally straight face.

Or maybe go to their camp out and count how many people have scars on their foreheads from getting into the door way, on a lowered trailer?
These trailers are not that high, even at normal ride height.
I guess the next fad will be "Chopped Roofs".

I always thought they were made with chopped roofs. For some reason I can't stand up straight in any of them. That is how tear drops came about somebody chopped and sectioned a canned ham.
