We went for the third straight year to Symco, WI for the Symco Shakedown. What's a Symco Shakedown you ask? Here are the details...
The Shakedown is the original weekend traditional hot rod and custom show in Wisconsin!!
Don't be confused; we are not a rat rod, art car show. Our grounds are filled with cars that would have been seen cruising the streets of America pre-1965. If you're building a car with parts that weren't available at that time, it won't get in. Please visit the website for extended rules and to pre-register your vehicle.
But what is even more cool...all the vintage trailers. Symco is the reason we purchased and are restoring our first trailer (Emmylou). Going there this weekend firmed up that we love this hobby/sickness.

Oh and BTW, Emmylou performed perfectly. She was a dream to pull and getting the new wheels on her was a great decision. Cannot wait to keep working on her inside.
