So Rosebud, our '59 Airflyte, has her original flooring tiles. To best protect it, I'd like to apply a sealer - but don't know whether to use acrylic or water based... or other?
I'm leaning towards the water based, but would love some feed back from anyone who has sealed their tiles, too.
Thoughts?

I went to a business that sells floor care products for professional floor cleaning businesses that do floor stores like walmart and such, they recommended a combination sealer/wax and it looks great. it may need to be reapplied a couple of times a year, but its a small floor.

Do you remember what the brand of the sealer/wax was that they recommended?

I can look tomorrow, I believe I still have it, several use to recommend a brand Lowes use to carry but I believe it was discontinued, but can still be found online occasionally.

I found it, it is called 'The Fixx" by Spartan, I really liked it, it is a "floor finish and sealer" I bought a microfiber type applicator that puts it on without streaks

I used too much water and it made my original floor tiles pop off It could have been that I washed and waxed the floor in the winter and it may not have dried before the freezing temperatures came at night. In any case, be sparing on the water. I miss my original floor! insert code here
