We have spent the last year and a half restoring this little beauty. We were told it is an early 70's Wilderness. Can't find a VIN on it......can anyone help us identify exactly what we have?? It did have a Wilderness sign in between the cabinets. Here is a link of some restored picts: link

What a neat little trailer! Only one pic came through, but it was a good one.

I've created a new link with 5 picts, hopefully it will help someone identify it! We love it!

DId you replace the rear lights? If it's an early 70s, it would probably still have had round ones. I don't think the square ones showed up until either late 70s or early 80s. But the shape is definitely much earlier. It's adorable!

We did not replace the tail lites. We bought the trailer from an older gentleman and he tried doing some work on it. As you can see on the front side windows, he replaced the jalousie windows with newer ones and for some reason he put them on plywood. We do plan on replacing the wood with siding. Do you have any ideas on if it is a Wilderness or not? I'm not having much luck on the Internet finding anything out about Wilderness trailers. We would like to get it back to looking like the era it came from.

In some of the older trailers, you can get a general idea of date of manufacture by looking at the back of the mirror or the underneath side of the sink. It does look like a late 60s or early 70s trailer, but I'm thinking that in addition to the new windows, he also redid the wheel wells. Those smack of late 80s - 90s. Don't know about Wilderness trailers, but it sure is a cutie.

thanks for the tip on looking on the backside of the sink and mirror. Such a mystery trying to sort out original and replaced parts. We wondered about the wheel wells too. Would really love to come closer to identifying this little beauty. Absolutely enjoy this trailer. I'm not totally convinced it is a Wilderness since the only marking is a wilderness insignia btw. the cabinets.

The star hubs are great, aren't they. They were on the trailer when we bought it.

Here are some inside shots of our trailer. inside was a dark walnut paneling when we got the trailer. If anyone can tell era or make we would love to hear from you. The lantern up front over the table is original. The Wilderness sign between the cabinets is the only identifying mark on the trailer. Not sure if it is real or someone put it there. Outside shots are available on our original post of Newbie Here........ Inside picts
