I found this little trailer sitting neglected in an old mining town. I think it may have been used as a powder shed at one point. The owner is willing to sell. What is it? Any ideas on the year? I'm thinking of making an offer. I realize it's a frame up rebuild and likely a reskin but it's a really neat little ham. I think I'm falling for it. It has... Good window parts Appliances Curved cabinets Solid floor Solid frame (yes I really checked this time) It's missing... TITLE! closet door coupler parts A stove knob Lots of glass The back bottom of the skin! Table My favorite part is the "DANGER EXPLOSIVE" sign. I was careful while I poked around inside. Found some dead shrews but no dynamite.

Metal skin inside the door... The door actually opens and closes properly.

Somebody must have drug the rear until the skin tore off. Poor thing. What do you think. BUY IT? Or BLOW IT UP?

BUY IT. I love the old hams and this one's got good parts! Be sure to research getting a title in your state...

But what the heck is it?
Last time I checked on getting titles you just show up at the DMV with some money and they give you a title but that's been a few years ago and that was a boat. I'm sure it's not that easy anymore. I'm thinking about offering $250 in it's current state.

Thanks, it good to hear others think it cool and worth saving.
I went to the DMV today to see about getting a title. It's not as easy as it used to be.
In Alaska looks like I'll need to
1.weigh the trailer 2.have it appraised 3.get a 3 year surety bond for 1 1/2 times the value 4.then fill out a bunch of forms
YIKES! AK went from easiest state to the hardest in the last ten years. I'm loving the little trailer less and less. If the guy gives it away cheap or wants to jump through the hoops of applying for a lost title then I'll take it. Otherwise I might have to pass on this little unknown trailer. I'm meeting with owner on In anew days. We will see what happens.

DRAT. People really haul stolen trailers to Alaska to get rid of them??? I'm thinking these little guys need all the help they can get. Hoping for better news.
