We found this camper at a hunting camp, we really want to save it, the original birch still looks salvageable, it has a vin on it but it's really odd , 1497. Does anyone have a clue?

Definitely 50s, I'd say 55 and earlier. HUGE front window, haven't seen that before. Also, not particularly "round" for a canned ham...
The Marvel fridge is cool and some of the cabinetry looks salvageable. Some of it has really cool lines. Beware that the title is probably not available. Check your state laws before proceeding.

Are the windows framed with wood? Were they made like that with a picture window? Wow! I saw a Shasta one time that some one added a window that size to. I love the fridge. Original countertops? I want to see up close.

We live in Texas and I spoke to a title company comp, he charges $150 to do all the leg work for the title, as long as it's 25 years or older it's usually a no brainer. The window frames are metal just painted [ I don't think the counters are original look like a cheap old laminate

The lines are amazing, here a few more! I personally love the little built in shelves

It appears to have been repaired a time or two over the years but looks like it would be worth restoring. I like several of the features that I see and even if it requires a complete rebuild I think it would be cool when finished. I like the brace with the built in shelves, the rounded corners and I would take a picture of the art work and have it replaced when finished if you think it was original. I would guess it is late 50s to early/mid 60s about the time that styles were moving toward the squared off look or second generation look.

Thanks for the close up of the window frame. The artwork is cool. It looks like it was decal, maybe added, but it is still old. The latches on the cabinets are great, too.

We are definitely bringing it home, it's free. But really would like to figure out what it is first, it would make getting the title much easier than saying it was homemade. We are in mid restoration of fern, a 70 holiday rambler right now, but I just can't let this one go because I've never seen one like her and it's intriguing. I have a camper hoarding problem.

Ideal and alma seem to be the only campers I can find with the horizontal window configuration like that, are there any others that y'all know of?
