We went with old style tiles in our camper. They're black with some white specs in them. I was planing on putting a few coats of wax on.
Does everyone wax?
What do you use?
TIA

I used a product that claimed "diamond hard shine" or something. Maybe Futura??? Any good quality wax should work. Some floors don't need it, my NOS Sandran Scrubless is very tough and shiny...

What are the "old style" tiles made out of? Who sells them?

Hi Larry,
These are the commercial style tiles, by Armstrong. They have a dull finish.

Oh ok I use Armstrong Excellon polish. Even if you don't buff they come out nice and shiney. You must strip and clean them first especially if they are brand new. They come from the factory with a protective finish on them that must be stripped off.

I'll be doing the floor as soon as I get Lucille back from the paint shop.

READ THE DIRECTIONS and also I have videos on this subject. Go take a look at them. Shows stripping and polishing also.

Larry, can Ammonia be used to clean/strip the tiles? I would use what's recommended which is the Henry. I can't say what plain ammonia will do as far as cleaning away the factory sealant on the first cleaning. I always follow instructions. Safest way to get the desired results.
