Of course since I bought mine, I've been noticing tons of campers around me lately. I'm always on the hunt to try to find parts for mine. (Wings, range hood, ice box, etc.) I don't know if any of these are for sale. However, being that they're all mostly just stuck out in a field and not being mowed around, yet alone used, I'd guess most of them would be for sale. These are all within 35 minutes or so of my house. And there are LOTS more that I didn't get pictures of, either because they were "too new" for my liking, or because the people were right outside and I didn't want to seem like a stalker seen taking photos. This one is just a few miles from my house, and I spotted it while going to a yard sale to find vintage treasures for my '60 Shasta...

That's the way to find them. Almost all of mine have been off in a back yard or field behind a barn or just off the highway some where. The last one I bought was going to be turned into a flat bed until I rescued it and gave them $500 for it.

You have quite a selection up there.
When we were in CO, we ran into lots of vintage campers. Within 50 miles of our home in NC, not one in the last two years.
As as they say in the real estate business, location, location, location.

And then there's this gem: Can I ask whereabouts in Maine? I have family ties to Bangor but that my not be considered 'northern' Maine.

Hey Theresa, My wife and I live in Portland, but she is originally from Lincoln, with family still in Chester and Mattawamkeag. Anyway, I bet if you looked closer at a lot of those trailers you would see they are wrecks. I looked at dozens of trailers around here before finding ours, and sadly most of them were completely rotted and rodent infested. Maine winters are not kind to vintage trailers.

Nick That would be my guess, too. Which is GREAT for what I need, which is PARTS! haha Most of the owners have left them in the fields to rot away, or to use to store even more junk. I'm hoping to find one that's completely rotted off the frame, with a few crucial parts and pieces still intact.
