We had ours done and for 800.00 it turned out wonderful. We went to the local fabric store and they had two bolts of furniture upholstery (discontinued) so we bought them for 60.00 . The kicker was the price of the five inch high density foam for everything. The gaucho in back and 4 cushioned dinette. The foam was 600.00 alone. we have a friend who does apholstery for helicopters to custom limos. Got a deal here in Colorado. The pic shows the awesome job...

We found someone selling parts from an old pop-up with a damaged roof. We got the mattresses and stacked them for our Shasta bed. You can't fold them to make a couch, but so comfy and a perfect fit!

Don't forget to go directly to the foam wholesalers. They will sell to the public. Most foam factories are around New Orleans. When the big hurricane flooded that area a few years back, the foam factories were closed for a season. The prices went through the roof due to the back log. Up here in Canada they marked it up even more with the shipping. However, if you go right to a factory you will pay half or less than you will pay retail. If you really want to save those cushions you can. I would suggest you do the work yourself. Take the cover off and make an exact pattern. Then cover the area with the rusty springs with some plastic. Then buy some upholstery cotton, and fill in over that, and put a thick layer of white poly batting over the whole cushion. This will help to fill it out when you reinsert it into the cushion bag.
