I wouldn't tow that 4 hours without going through the wheels, tires and bearings. It's going to need new tires for sure and the bearings should be repacked or replaced. You should also look at the springs and related hardware. Make sure all the windows stay closed for the trip including the top vent.
This seller is being very honest. If they think it needs a flat bed it just might.

I believe Portajohn. I know he had purchased an old fan with a tarp on the roof.

Great. Better safe than sorry is an old saying but it's always true.

I like it, lots of good parts there, especially for 300 bucks. Definitely a frame up... I say go for it!

I haven't even started my Shasta project, so I can't possibly take on a frame-up resto right now. I'm buying it strictly for the icebox, and a co-worker will go in half with me if the rear window will fit in his '63 Shasta Airflyte. Then I'll still have some quality parts to be able to sell to make back my money.

Not sure if the dimensions are the same - the windows are from a 1969 Shasta Stratoflyte - but it's worth a phone call. binghamton.craigslist.org/rvs/4579455405.html
