One of my adventures I would like to take part in some day is to travel on what is left of Route 66. I know Schweetcruisers was going to be doing some of it at some point this summer, perhaps that is why he has been quiet recently. Maybe we will see some pics when he gets back.
But with that in mind, I saw this and thought I would share. Maybe some of you will like these pics. And, if you are not familiar with the website, it is pretty cool too!

Between Christmas and New Years, 2013, I drove part of old Route 66. I'm not a Route 66 aficionado, but I live in the southwest and was traveling in the right direction, not in a hurry, and wanted to get off I-40. The section from Seligman to Kingman, AZ is pretty cool. The section from Kingman to Oatman is must-do if you're out there on a road trip. Very hard to believe it was a major route to anywhere!
