Ah, Soup:
How I feel your pain. My Shasta Compact had no attachment between the walls and the floor for the rear 2/3rds of the camper because of rot. The roof had sunk 4 to 6". All of the framing had to come out. But in the end, it was a solvable problem. Now. all is well.
Best wishes,
Pod

only what I have found so far. there is no"WOOD" here just wet sawdust. On the bright side, The hole at the bottom right did work well for clean-out of the wet sawdust and slivers..

After looking at these pictures I have decided that even with all the rot my current project had it was nearly perfect.

inmoore it looks like you have thicker walls. One inch framing at least if not bigger. That's great. My Deville was that way and the Foresters are that way. I love it when the framing is bigger than 3/4 inch.

I saved this fix of the rot on our loflyte.. I have not stumbled on anymore this bad on our unit.. but the winters not over either. I start pulling the door frame in a few weeks.. cross your fingers.. I like to use Marine Grade Plywood on skirts.. w/3 coats of exterior latex. It's left over paint, but still good.
