So...... First time ever installing the skin and we were doing great! We completed both sides in about 6 hours. We routed out the windows and the baggage doors on both sides. Went to fit in the baggage door and realized we didn't take into consideration the radius for the corners and cut them out square. Any suggestions? I knew it was going just too smoothly.

Buy square doors or take a piece of 1/8" aluminum sheet and cut out a nice " washer" plate to go between the doors and the trailer. Make it an inch or two larger than the door frame and paint it to match then seal both sides same as rest of outside seams. Make sure you round the edges nicely with a sander or by hand and drill your mounting holes spaced the same all the way around to give it a professional look.Properly done it will look nice plus make the door opening stronger.

I didn't say this above but cut the plate the same shape as the door. I think I would go two inches larger than the door frame it would look more like it belonged there. You are using modern doors instead of the old square style so at the worst people would think it was just an adapter to fit the new doors to your old trailer.

ohh, I can imagine how upset you were, I've done things like that, I say just get a square door like the 58-64 Shasta campers have.

Make a bezel from plate aluminum matching the radius of the doors.

Build a "rectangle" new door. Or spend the $125., and replace the lower panel.

I'm having a hard time finding a square door with the measurements that we need, something close to 20x13. Any ideas where to look?

I'd order a new door. Not a mistake, just a oversight:)

Sorry, I know that oops feeling too well. I have to tell you Jody, earlier, I was really bummed about a stupid thing I did near the end of my day. Then I came in and read this. Mine was bad, but at least it wasn't on new skins. I think Bill has a great solution. It will look nice and at least you didn't really do any "damage" (like I did).
And it's great to hear that otherwise, you are doing great with the new skins! I'm pulling for ya'll and can't wait to see the final results!
