Amazing! I saw this on feebay but never dreamed it would only go for $100!!!
The sink was originally the same color as the stove and ice box. Check to see if it has been painted or replaced. Break out the DA sander and get that paint off of everything because you got golden birch wood under all that white latex. Should be able to use some kind of stripper to bring it back to original inside. Jezz, you should be arrested for stealing that camper! Looks no newer than 1963. It's just like our 63 Compact.

Yeah I love it already! My Airflyte is a '61 and my wife wanted one so I got this one to start after our other one is done. I really bought it for the fridge but I would like to restore it back to it's shellaced glory! Is it a Compact? It looks really short. It should have the date under the sink too right? If it wasn't changed. I can't wait to go see it!

There should be a date stamped on the back. The sink might have been replaced or painted sense it should have matched the stove color. Get a vin number off the frame (see pic below) then get with Ross (Member here) on PM and he will be able to tell you what date and where it was manufactured.

Congrats. I saw this one. Had it on my watch list. I was hoping it would show up here. I can't believe no one else bid on it. Too far from me, but I thought about it.

The sink is probably original. Our 62 sink is white and the stove is brown. Ours is original with the camper.

I've looked under the search tab but I can't come up with any wheel size and lug nut spacing. Could someone who knows please tell me what size wheels I should take along with me when we go inspect her???

Are you sure the frame and axle are still under it? Looks like the box is sitting on dirt.

Your right it might be. If it is then it will be flat bed rental BUT if the axle and wheels are there I would still like to bring another set with me. You can never have too much extra stuff when you hi pick one up! :-)

Well I went to check it out and does it need some help! I think the nice that were inhabiting the camper decided to build condos in all the drawers, oven and under the dinette seats. AND I couldn't make out the year under the sink OR behind the mirror! But I did manage to get the vin off if the tongue!
