Several years ago (maybe 2010 or 2011) there was someone on the old VSTF who had bought and disassembled a toaster-style Compact and was going to rebuild it as a ham-style. I think he was doing it in aluminum. He had even posted a schematic of the framing. The last thing I remember seeing is a picture of their car full of the aluminum frame pieces. Does anyone else remember who this was and/or what happened with the trailer? I'd love to find out how the trailer turned out.

I think I know, I don't remember their user name on the VSTF but I follow their blog, roecircle.blogspot.comTheir still working in it, seems their life got into the way as they had a baby, and moved.

I'm not a fan of that roof line. Looks like a connect the dots drawing with a ruler. Could of taken the ham shape farther if that's the goal. I can appreciate thinking outside the box a bit though.

Wow, SuzieQ, I thought it was a lot longer ago than November that they posted here. Actually, I didn't realize they had come over from VSTF. I'm glad they're still working on the trailer, although by the time they're done, they may decide they need more sleeping space! Their new home is going to be like their trailer, a nice mix of original and updated.
Thanks, Schweet, for finding the blog!
