Anybody ever wonder what the TCTTCO stands for in my signature...no? Too bad I'm going to tell you, Tin Can Troublemakers Trailer Club Original member So what does all this mean? It's a Facebook group I'm trying to get up and running, it was spawned out of a camping trip with the other TCT, where the trips organizer complained that people were drinking beer, playing music, and had dogs! You know camping! I'm not trying to start a camping riot group, but a group of people who enjoy camping and want to have fun. So if you want to join please do so, share with your friends, post pictures of camping trips and having fun with you trailer/RV! www.facebook.com/groups/TinCanTroublemakers/
oh yeah, there isn't a lot on it yet, that's where you come in!

Beer, music, and dogs. In a beautiful spot with good friends and good BBQ, that's sounds perfect. There are always snobs to be ignored.
In this case vintage camper snobs.

I drink wine, and my husband drinks beer when we camp, we play music that you can't hear beyond the edge of our campsite... Until whatever time the park rules allow, and we have two dogs. I that constitutes a troublemaker ... Hmmm... I guess I am one. But 2 toddlers screeching and fighting so loud in their campsite in the early morning that the whole park can hear them... Seems like a lot more trouble to me. And I have had to bear up under that... way to often. So I guess they need a group called. Tin Can Trouble Making Toddlers..... Lol...

Well I would fall in both groups.... Beer, liquor, more liquor, music, 2 big Labs, and of course 2 toddlers ages 3 and 2 but they are very well behaved.... The dogs and the toddlers. Mom and Dad are more of the troublemakers!

Honestly I was a little sad that most of the local TCT folks in my area are older and don't really care for the whole family camping thing. There was even an event at a pets only (no kids 2-14) campground. They do have some family friendly rallies but I don't want to be the only one with kids. I want them to have other kids to play with. All in all they are a good group just at a different place in life and I can respect that.

I would join, but if my employer sees that I have joined such a rebellious and subversive group there may be consequences! Just kidding.. joining now! To think people would have a real problem with that is a surprise.. (Unless you are playing Justin Bieber you are playing, which would be a deal breaker for me!!

You people just don't understand when I am camping You shouldn't be allowed to do anything ,but Me, my kids and grand kids plus the dogs should be allowed to anything we want and you should keep your mouth shut. That attitude is the problem with today's world. As long as everyone is obeying park rules we should all be tolerant of each other. A lot of us forget we had little ones once that bugged other people and probably somewhere in our wicked youth we probably partied a little to hearty at times. Of course I never did any of that, but I still try to tolerate what is going on around me and even stop in to say howdy and maybe toss down a cold one or maybe offer to hold the little one whose crying has also kept mom up all night for a few minutes just to give her a break.

I have no family. Just me and the dog... We don't camp near other people very often but when we do we like to be left alone. Rallies don't do it for me. I go to see the trailers but I don't participate.

It's a very good point... For the most part we have found that if it gets late (1:00 a.m.) and people are still loud, if we walk over and let them know that we would appreciate if you could wrap it up soon... As it's getting late, people have so far been really good about it. Now at the same time... I probably would leave it to park patrol if the people were at a certain level of drunk but really... But overall ....We all know that people who camp are nicer than people who don't! Hehehe

Hehehe At that very campsite shown above, a bunch of adult children who were not raised properly pulled in at 11pm, started a ROARING BON FIRE and procceded to continue to drink as they obviously had been already and made a ton of noise. The smoke from the fire was billowing straight towards and inside my tent. I did not politely go over there and ask them to quiet it down as I could tell that they would just laugh. Instead I loaded my AR15 and walked over there with it shouldered along with a 5 gallon jug of water and started to put out their fire. When they started to come towards me I unshouldered my weapon and just stood there looking at them. They quietly helped me put out the fire and went to sleep. The next morning they drew straws to see who was going to come over and have a talk with me. The guy who won declined so they packed up and left.
