I won't have photos for you until tomorrow but you won't believe what came in for a little work..... How about a 1954 Aljoa??? This was right when the law suit happened and the name was changed to Aljo. The original tag on it says Aljoa so there were still a few of those left I suppose and they put them on the trailers anyhow. I'm in love with this trailer. I'll show it to you tomorrow.

I love the layout of this trailer…also love the stove!!! Looks like a fun project!! I'll only be replacing paneling and framing. Possible new roof. The owner will be handling the rest. This will be part of the Tinker Tin fleet.

Wow! What a cool big/little trailer... Thanks for all the pix.
Grate is usually the heater.

Yep that's the floor heater... Had one like that in the first house I lived in as a child. I remember standing on top of it in my footed jammies on cold mornings.

Very cool - especially for a '54. What are those above the dinette & front windows? Pull down shades or a wooden valence?

Very cool - especially for a '54. What are those above the dinette & front windows? Pull down shades or a wooden valence? Those are wooden valences. Original curtain rods are inside. I am now discovering that this trailer used to have a full time bed but was converted to a Goucho in the rear. I'm wondering now if the valences are also an add on. It looks like it used to have a cabinet potty also by the looks of the square cover plate on the floor near the goucho and the fact that there is a no longer used water inlet right above that area on the street side of the trailer. More photos as I move along.

Good thing you didn't wear a nightshirt, you'd have looked like Marilyn Monroe standing atop the street grate! Gorgeous trailer. I hope you get to see it finished.

Ya a night shirt would have probably floated LOL... Unless I die or something before hand I will surely see it finished. As I said this will become part of the Tinker Tin fleet. I do a lot of work for those people.
