Hi All,
I am just getting started on the resto of my newly acquired 68 Aristocrat Loliner. I'm looking for some parts and materials. Really appreciate any leads:
1) Original or similar gutter aluminum extrusion. 2) Original or similar oval side marker lights 3) Diamond pleat backsplash stainless material. 4) Loliner optional garage wheels.
Is there any major Travel Trailer wrecking yards around? I am on the west coast.
Thanks in advance for any help!
Scottie

There are a couple of surplus/trailer junk yards in So Cal. The J rail is available at most RV shops today. Shipping can be expensive if longer than 8 feet in length. We have yet to replace any J rail. It's easy to straighten and looks nice with a sanding. Can be painted and/or polished. Tear drop side markers are available at Vintage Trailer Supply and RV shops carry the more modern oval lights. The diamond back splash was aluminum. It is available today at Interstate Metals in Milwaukee, OR. Request Mill finish; you have to buy a full 4 x 8 sheet and pay shipping. Stainless will work as well but is a bit harder to cut. Most aluminum will polish up fine and doesn't need to be replaced. Here is some original on the side of our Little Dipper:

Grinder, there are some aristocrat Lo liner folks in this forum and it is great, I being one, and am new to this, so I will be watching for your work. I am in oklahoma, so eyeballin is out of the question. I am anxious also to find salvage in my area, so if I find any will give a holler.

I need an entrance door for a '72 Aristocrat Lo liner. Anyone have one or know where to find it? I am located in Kentucky, about 50 miles north of Nashville

Hi Norm,
Hello and Welcome!
You could make one, but you would have to find someone else's door to copy and measure. It' gonna be hard to find a door.
I might have a resource for you. Check your private messages
Cheers,
Rod

I made my Cardinal door just by opening measurement. I believe it was about 1/4" smaller all the way round. (gives 1/8 clearance on all sides) Mine had h trim to prevent leaks. Very easy to build a door.

A metal fabricator can replicate the garage wheels very easily. They appear to be a circular piece of steel drilled for the bolt pattern and welded inside a piece of round casing. Unsure of dimensions.
