I have all of my screen door for our 1964 Airflyte other than the bottom piece. Will the sets they sell at Home Depot/Lowes match those or will the style be off? Are there any other places that sell matching pieces? Has anyone just replaced one piece before? Could you even notice they didn't match?
We thought about removing door but as we will camp mostly in Iowa and Minnesota that seemed a bit short sighted, but I would like it to look nice.
Thanks!

This is one of the places where creativity comes in handy. In a case like this I might go down to HD or some other big box store and just kinda browse the place looking for something that may work. You can go to Ace and do the same thing. Something will pop out at you. Think rivets while you are looking...

We have an old window and door place in our city called "Tormino's sash and glass". They've been around forever. I can usually find anything I need by going there. They've been in business so long they have tons of outdated trim, channel, parts etc. Maybe look for a similar type of business in your area. Just an idea.

Do you have a link to Torminos or are they strictly old school? Thing is, we NEED some of their parts.. Also need to know the measurement patterns they go by, that sort of thing.

Lol, very old school. It's the kind of place where you have to walk in with something you want to match, and be willing to do some digging. The store is kinda like walking back in time. Great local resource, but you'd have trouble buying over the phone. But it's the kind of place worth looking for in anyone's home town. Here's a good write up on them from a local paper. It's interesting. www.spokesman.com/stories/2012/jan/15/doors-still-open/

I had an old screen door off a loflyte and took it apart to get the parts needed for Sll. So he just needed the bottom part with the corner pcs. Therefore, I still have the upper, sides and the corner pcs, and the slider if anybody is needing the parts let me know.
