I saw Mobletec do a video about windows with frames like that. He used a spring hook to take the frames out and then as far as I understood there I'd some gasket stuff you can buy at the vintage trailer supply place he talks about it on the video. the video is called "introducing the spring hook"... Just do a search for those words and you should be able to find it..

It's two different types of frames. Apples and Oranges.
Also, I would like to see a better photo.

ndpap, did you ever find gaskets for your Woodlin windows? The only other things I've found online are other people looking for help. I'm currently looking for the gaskets on the frame (backframe gasket?), though I may find out I need the cushion & the glass gasket down the line. John, here are some photos: I can get a cross section shot of the gasket I'm referring to soon if you think you may be able to help. It looks similar to the Hehr Standard Glass Seal on VTS, but about half the size.

A friend of mine is also looking for gaskets for Woodlin windows and he's talking silicone. So a source for gasket replacements would be very useful...

Never found the back gasket. The one posted here from VTT is not the correct one. We ended up using the old ones... they were not falling apar. I just thought that if we were going through the trouble of taking windows off and painting the camper new back gaskets would be nice too. our Sportcraft / Woodlin windows did not have butyl tape behind them. they do now with YES some caulking. Nothing you can see from the outside. its all behind the sense.

Yeah, that gasket looks like it may be a replacement for what I've been calling the "cushion." Though I've been unable to find anything that matches the ones that edge the frame like this: Here's a cross-section: And a size comparison: I'd keep the old gaskets if I could, but one of them shrunk enough to slip down at some point in its life. And then I ripped it all off. If no one here has any ideas I'll get in touch with Vintage Trailer Supply and see what they have to say.

Did you ever find the gaskets? I have 6 windows that need complete restoration.

I recently gave Robert at Vintage trailer Shop samples of the gaskets so he could reproduce them. You might contact him and see where he's at with it and affirm interest in them as its an expensive undertaking... www.vintagetrailershop.com/

I haven't found gaskets yet, whalensdad. I have been in touch with Robert, trailertrasher. Thanks for getting that project started! Unfortunately he's still a few months away from having them done, and I don't think I can wait for that. He mentioned that the Standard Hehr Seal could work as a replacement for the backframe gasket, though I haven't received that sample yet. (I just sent an email to ask about that.) I haven't heard from him about the glass gasket either. I didn't push it because things got very confusing when I was talking to VTS about two gaskets at once so I thought I'd focus on one at a time. whalensdad, Robert's email is customerservice@vintagetrailershop.com if you want to let him know you're interested.

Robert sent me this picture this morning of how the Standard Hehr Seal looks compared to the backgasket frame. Could work?

Those look like they may work. I originally tried to attach one frame using butyl tape but fund that if you screw down too tight the aluminum channel collapses and deforms the frame. What a stupid design. I purchased a neoprene gasket that will fit in the channel which I'm hoping will provide some structure. If this gasket along with what you show above works, I may be able to forego using butyl tape at all. I don't have the time to wait for someone to make a product.
