Nice looking trailer! And welcome to the forum. Clean her up and start poking around. It looks to be about the same length as our 71 loflyte.. but taller. I like the lines on her too. Is that a bumper rail? Looks like it's loaded with all the bells and whistles minus a toilet. NICE! Thanks, she's about 14ft. Give or take plus the tongue. I really like the shape, how she pokes out at the top in front and out at the bottom in back. I'm not sure what a bumper rail is so I can't really say!

You got them posted! I love your trailer and you're going to get so much satisfaction in working on it. Hope to hear and see lot more about your restoration journey. I'm still a newbie myself, but you will find that there are a lot of people on the board who are not only knowledgable but incredibly willing to answer questions and share wisdom.

I'm nothing if not stubborn! I will definitely post more pictures of the process. I'm sure I'll have a million questions once I start opening her up. Luckily people here do seem very friendly and helpful. Your trailer is gorgeous! Completely unlike any other I've seen. Will you leave the dog cave? Certain things have to be taken into account for my little canine monsters (both under 2yrs at present) like super durable, cleanable, cushion covers!

I have a 1966 Glendale..! I am looking forward to seeing the inside of yours.. It will be interesting to see the changes they made between 1966 and 1969. Welcome to the forum.. Thanks for the welcome Ladywendolyn. Did you see the inside pics? I'd to see photo's of yours, is there somewhere on here that I can?

Mine was painted bright blue so not too inspiring but I have some photos from a 69 that's original. I will post them here later.

Oh WOW!
ladywendolyn directed me to you...
We're TWINS!!
Fraternal, though, I guess - my interior layout is slightly different.
You have all your original outside lights, and your decals are so sharp, too! I'm envious. That's the only thing my PO swapped out.
So very cool!

I may have all the exterior lights but unlike you all the interior ones are missing! I'm slowly collecting appropriate vintage fixtures. Most if the exterior lenses are in pretty bad shape so I'm going to recast new ones, been a while since I've done any mold making so we'll see how they turn out!

Lol!
i'd love some close up picks of you exterior lights, and some dimensions, if you were willing; I've been trying to figure out what the originals looked like, and scope some replacements. Challenging stuff to figure out, as I found pics off kijiji of another 1969 gf seem to have different lights (and looked like they might be original...).

Challenging stuff to figure out, as I found pics off kijiji of another 1969 gf seem to have different lights (and looked like they might be original...). All the exterior lights are made by a now defunct Toronto company called Saf-T-Ray. Pretty sure they're the originals as timing of that companies existence coincides. Try searching on line for this, since my lenses are in such rough shape I've looked but haven't had much luck. No problem I'll message you with photos and sizes in the next couple of days. Vintage trailer supply sells a replica of a Bargman stop, turn and tail light that is very similar (slightly smaller) and running lights that may suffice. Also all the seals for all your windows, check them out if you haven't yet!

There is a place online that can remake decals, and a place that remakes chrome logos. Here is a close up of the metal Glendale logo. Its painted red, but I am having mine redone in Chrome.. weird how people ripped everything off these old trailers. I am heading to the states this week and will be picking up big boxes of replacement vintage trailer stuff I ordered.. then I will show and tell it on here.

ps.. there are some nice replacement lights on the Vintage trailer parts, and vintage camper websites. They both carry reproductions. The originals were almost 4 inches across on the Glendales and there is no exact replacement available, but I am replacing mine with some beehive lights from VTP, and some round ones they carry which I will mix with a with a cool chromed beauty ring that looks really vintage which I found on ebay. Here is a photo..of the ring from ebay, the rest of the stuff can be found at Vintage trailer parts or Vintage camper parts.
