I am finally going after my Shasta today ,after 2 weeks & 2 rollback guys dropped the ball, and wouldn't you know it it's poring rain but it's been in the weather for many years so that doesn't matter it just makes it a little more miserable.
One thing I haven't taken into consideration is I live on a step hill and getting a car trailer with the camper up my drive way and then around behind my shop ain't gonna work.
My question is are about the trailer Dolley's I see advertised are they maneuverability it the grass?
Looks like I'm going to have to take it off the car trailer and push it.
I suppose in the future I will need to get the county to put in a culvert & easement to the back of my property but for now I just need to get the camper to a location I can work on it. Danny

Hi Hot Rod another issue with steep on the 56 1500 is that the rear end and the whole thing in general is pretty low to the ground...when I first put mine in the driveway I completely crumpled the rear skin scraping going into the driveway, which wasn't helped by the fact that the frame turned out to be completely rotted out.
The dollys work well but not sure how well they work on an incline....you may need a gang to help you. Do you know someone with a lawn tractor that you could hook up to and bring it in that way...with how light they are this might be an option.
