Hi. My wife and I are new to vintage trailers and we just purchased a 1956 KenCraft (16'). We're excited to find this forum and look forward to learning as much as we can.
We are anxiously awaiting the delivery of our trailer but it seems to be taking the broker/shipper a really long time to find someone willing to deliver it from Washington state to the Florida panhandle. They claim that the bad weather is making it difficult to find someone to deliver it. They quoted us a very reasonable price but when I go on line at look at companies that specialize in moving vintage trailers the estimate provided is almost double the one we were quoted by the broker. Does anyone have any suggestions for trailer delivery?
Thanks!

Welcome and good luck getting your new trailer home. I know you'll feel much better once it arrives. That has to be nerve racking. Hopefully someone here will have some good suggestions for you. Meanwhile, read through the forum threads to take your mind off of it, or to keep your mind busy daydreaming about it.

Welcome cappyjon431! Try to post up some pics of exterior so we can see if it should be towed or shipped on top of a trailer. If towing we can tell by pics if there is some prep work that needs to be done before towing that distance or not.
