Not exactly sure who proclaimed this specific weekend as glamping weekend but hey, it's a fun idea. Here's a link to the page: www.internationalglampingweekend.com/I'm really thinking that if I'm going to get my 12 year old granddaughter to camp with me, I probably need to start thinking glamping and not camping. Looks like Mary Jane is the one who started it all. I like the idea of an outdoor tub. I've been using one for years but it's not as glamorous as hers. Mine is a stock tank. I have even used a $40 rubber boat as a bath tub in the camp site. Let's face it.... Man Glamping is a bit different...

By the way, Mobiltec, I love your signature. I just don't think I have the time or the motivation to drag a whole bunch of extra glamping stuff along with me, set it all up and tear it all down. I'm thinking glamping on a much more simplified scale, I guess. B.

LOL.. The WHOLE reason we decided to get a camper in the first place was that we had in insane amount of gear to pack and unpack, and our truck was groaning under the weight of all that gear. While I can appreciate the Mary Jane glamping esthetic, we won't be taking clawfoot bathtubs, Morrocan rugs or chandeliers on our camping trips.

That's why I'm moving up from my teardrop. I want a quick *park and set up* time, too.

A fishing pole, one clean pair of underwear and two clean pairs of socks.... That's about all I need.

The miracle won't be when we finish, the miracle is that we had the courage to start.

That would be my oldstyle of backpacking-mobiltec! My aches and pains want a mattress now and not one that blows up or can be stuffed into a 6" bag.
