And all these cabins are abandoned? Most were abandoned at one time and then regularly maintained by volunteers like me who frequent them. You can see lots more by going to my Exploring Pages website... www.cannedhamtrailers.com/exploringpages.htmThere are a few which are still privately owned but are at the same time open to the public as long as they do not get vandalized. The one white stove you see in the photos above with the glass oven window was stolen recently and it was in perfect shape. This is why we don't give out directions to these places on the open internet. I even mis-name the areas I explore just so souvenier hunters don't find them. Another cabin shown above had the solar panel stolen that was on the roof for lighting in the cabin. Most of the cabins now have solar lighting just to help keep them from being burned down by drunks who don't know how to use a lantern properly. Infamous "Barkers Cabin" where Manson was found and arrested was recently burned down by drunks who started a fire inside and lost control of it.

Sad. I heared they were going to rebuild Barkers Cabin They did that before the fire. They made the place really nice. The whole outside lattice and porch area along with the nearby outbuildings were rebuilt. New roofing was done on the main cabin also along with other things that needed attention around the place. Shortly there after is when it burned. Now they just removed all the burned wood and are not going to rebuild it. Just the short stone walls remain.

Shame. No more refuge for the weary hikers and campers...not to mention its not-so-recent history now gone.

Well at least the cabins had camper stuff in them. LOL... Only thing I haven't seen a trailer used for yet is a tree house.

1) It's not unusual to gain a little weight (and girth) over the winter. B) I sure hope he had that thing insured! Lastly) oops.

That truck couldn't get into any campground in Maine. Not one.

He'd have that truck tore up here in PA, too... And I wonder how that guy got that camper IN that door ? I saw the original to this video years ago. The video you are looking at is not the original and was either bought or stolen from the original maker of the video. The trailer was put in there from the other side using a hand dolly. If you look closely, the wall opening he is trying to pull it out from is a newly demolished hole and this dweeb just wanted the camper out of there and did not realize that hand dollies existed I guess.
