Hi Everyone, We're new to the travel trailer world, but have been lurkers for a long time. My husband and I saw this trailer online, and were thinking of purchasing it as our first restoration project. The current owner has been using it as a storage space and has no interest in telling me more about it or sending us more photos, so we're hoping that someone here could give us a hand by letting us know what type of trailer it might be. There is no title, but I've checked with our DMV and they don't seem to need one, although they do require information about the seller (we live in MA). Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Richard and Kath

Welcome to VTT richardandkath! Don't buy and send money over the net without being there in person. Side skins look weird to me. I've never seen that pattern of soft breaks (lines) on the sides before, but I'm no expert either. More help soon to come from more knowing members here I'm sure. By the looks of marker lamps, shape etc, I'm thinking 1970-75 though. Good Luck and enjoy the site. soup

My first thought was that something is not right if they owner does not want to give you more information or pics. And I second what Soup said. The front looks funny. Maybe it's just the sun and reflection but it almost looks photo-shopped. And the breaks... reminds me of corrugated aluminum barn siding. It may be totally legit. Someone else here may recognize it. Keep doing your homework.

I was thinking the exact same thing about the barn siding but I was too skeered to say it out loud! Also note there is like twice as many breaks upper aft the door than the number of breaks forward of the door. Almost looks like Lowes plastic barn roof sheeting. Something smells fishy.

When you blow the picture up the siding matches but the front corner has pushed out to the point that the wrap has come unfolded. It either has extreme rot or some thing inside has pushed the front forward. I would have to examine it very closely in person before purchasing.

Thanks, you guys.
I honestly believe that he doesn't know more, or care more, about the trailer. It was something someone gave him and he's selling it as storage, not as anything else. We were interested in buying and possibly restoring, and would go and view it before we bought.
Sounds like too much trouble, even for the price. Our search will continue.
