If it's shellac you use Denatured Alcohol... Actually, any kind of 70% alcohol will work. Got any 140 proof rotgut sitting around? It'll dissolve that shellac right away and leave an odor that the Highway Patrol will be able to pick up from about a mile behind you. Not to mention you can drink it while you're working!

Very nice Drake. Your trailer is proof that the goopy roof techniques do not work for very long. I'll be putting a brand new roof on the 59 I'm working on soon. I was going to do it right after the 57 Westerner roof but other stuff got in the way.

Thanks for the video tour, Drake. It's a great trailer - a project but the kind most Shasta searchers wouldn't mind! Nice to see so much of the original features are there. Can't wait to see it after you're finished.
