Hello all,
I begun a rebuild of a 16' 67 Aloha Travel Trailer (The one with the Toilet in back)in September 2013 so far it's been going well. When we bought it we new it had quite a bit of water damage to basically all 4 corners , and some of the roof. But I needed a project and I began the dismantling (Removed all windows, doors, covers and caps and then started on the skin). I was able to remove just about all of it with the exception of the left side (While facing it), due to the furnace vent, to the left of the door(photos coming soon!) . I can't seem to get it off. Anyone have any idea what is holding it in place or how to remove it?
So far I've completely rebuilt the front (Replaced all wood), started the back which really is a mess. Also planning to astart the rebuild of the plywood strip frame from front to back.
Thanks fro any help!!!, Steve T

Hello Steve NT spelled backwards and welcome to the asylum.
Wow you know we just went through that problem a couple weeks ago and it's all posted up on the board now as you can see with photos and everything. Great timing...

Thanks vikx, mobiletec, and susieq for the answers I shall try this weekend to remove the vent. Barring the weather of course, it's supposed to be 16 degrees on Saturday! I am so glad I found this site! Now where's a good place to get replacement exterior lights? The Aloha's are pretty close to clear as opposed to red or yellow.
Thanks again for the help!

Lots of vintage replacement parts here www.vintagetrailersupply.com/Default.aspI bought my lights and several other things from them and I'm quite pleased. There are some other suppliers, too but this one I can vouch for.

Your lights are no doubt faded, they were amber and red in the beginning.
