Took the 57 Shasta to Stanley ID. Long trip but worth it. Went camping there as a kid with our 66 Shasta Ultra. flic.kr/p/2q1CtEmThe pic is of Stanley Lake and Mt McGowen. The video is of the Payette River on the way out. Alot of kayakers on the river due to high runoff from early summer. |

I will have to look and see. My parents would pull it with a white 1963 Ford F100 Unibody. The campsite was thick with lodgepole pine now pretty open due to the western pine beetle.

Beautiful! We spent a week in June at Lake. Leur D’Alene on the opposite end of Idaho. Apparently all of Idaho is gorgeous. We did our 21st century Beverly Hillbillies impersonation pulling our 10’ Hamlet, and our tandem bike and canoe comfortably on the roof of our Tesla Model Y. Most interesting part of the trip was when a flying bass fish almost knocked us off the bike. The bald eagle that dropped it came back to pick it up. No fish for dinner that night! The first time we camped in Idaho was during the solar eclipse in 2017. We will keep going back.
