i looked but could not find a great deal of out of forum references (other than members' blogs).

is there a dedicated space for same, or can they be considered tools and put here?

VTT does not condone many "links" to other sites, forums or commercial enterprises. There are multiple reasons, the main one being that links tend to disappear over time which frustrates the user. Our thought is that an internet search is very easy to do. No reason to flood our site with good/not so good references to other sites.

The recommendation is search the internet for oneself.
