Could you post some pictures that would help identify it. Dodge Tradesman is just the chassis it sets on if it is a class C motorhome.

From one Hoosier to another, Welcome to VTT Deric Smith! Bill is right about the Old reliable Dodge Tradesman Van Chassis. They were used on a lot of different brands of coaches. The coach manufacturers would buy a complete chassis from Dodge, Ford, Chevy, Freightliner, etc. and it would be delivered to the coach manufacturer and they would build their coaches (camper body) on top of the frame of the chassis. That's pretty much how they still do it today. Like this one; "1972 Rectrans Discoverer. This is a solid motorhome with a 413 dodge powertrain -729 transmission. Body is fiberglass-designed by Larry Shinoda, he also designed 64 MAKO Shark Corvette. The was one of the first futuristic designed motorhomes, my understanding is that it was the first to be tested in a wind tunnel-designed to achieve 10 MPG. Also originally had an exhaust system that would incinerate waste. Only 1500 built. It is a head-turner to say the least." Besides, with it being a MOPAR muscle chassis, you know it's a powerful mover and with regular maintenance will likely out last the actual Rectrans Discoverer coach body that is attached to it. Love the stock factory chassis "Dodge Tradesman Van" bumper, grill/front on it too. It's the only thing giving away that it is a Dodge Tradesman Chassis. Most of the finer fancy class A motorhomes that are around a quarter a million dollars and up are usually built on Freightliner chassis and the like. Enjoy the site and post up some pictures of yours so we can see it. Soup
