Good day I have a 1955 1500 that the roof vent is missing. Can someone tell me what was used. Maybe a picture. Thanks for the help

Welcome Ken. The vent opening should be a standard 14" x 14". They are available at most RV shops or online. Check to be sure the vent has good sound wood before installing the new one, otherwise replace. It's always best to shim the vent framing higher than the roof if that wasn't already done. Hi Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm referring to the heater chimney and the cap that goes on top of it.

You might find a heater cap at a used RV parts lot. Trailertrasher1@gmail.com sometimes has them. It takes a while for a response. They are fairly common. Another source may be a modern heater supplier.
You can also have a sheet metal fabricator make you one.
