1968 Holiday Vacationer Yep, needs lots of work. The outside is in pretty good shape. The inside is pretty rough, back wall and ceiling have water damage (probably much more when I get to the rest). All the glass is good and the jalousie mechanisms all work. Probably going to take this down to the frame and build back up. The skin on this looks different than some I've watched videos on. There's only 2 pieces per side with the front piece overlapping the back (each piece seems to span sides from top to bottom, but may have a seam at center covered by the band in the middle). Still think it's going to be pretty straightforward to take apart.

Welcome to the asylum... This should be an interesting project. I've seen one other project with those types moulded edges all the way around the curb and street sides of the trailer. Hope you can show us how those re removed....
Good luck and make sure to share LOTS of photos.

Thanks and will do. I watched lots of your videos and although I think this may be constructed somewhat differently (but maybe not much diff), watching the videos make the idea of taking it apart much less intimidating.
That and the fact the I don't have much in it, tearing it down to the frame won't bother me a bit - building it back might prove somewhat of a challenge. I'm most likely also going to redo the floor plan, not sure how yet.
We already have a 2010 Keystone camper that is our normal use camper. I'm hoping to make it so great my wife will prefer the vintage camper, but her only comments so far have been, "yuck" and "please keep that somewhere the neighbors can't see it" ...
