Hello VTT
I’m not sure if there is a thread started on this or not but thought I would start one.
My wife likes to use a very small plastic step to get up and down into our Can ham camper and I hated this thing and ended up taking a chainsaw to it as it’s an accident waiting to happen the way it twist and slips twisting an ankle.
I’m looking for ideas on making a wooden step that lite weight
Anyone have any photos that you can share.
Thanks

I was watching one of BossaNova’s most YouTube videos and they showed a camper with a step that was shaped like a mid century atomic boomerang. I thought it was a cool idea.

I had the same problem with the built in step…tiny and an accident waiting to happen.
I made a heavy step/platform out of deck boards and a 2x4 base. It was maybe 18”x2 1/2’. Heavy but not too heavy to handle. It’s hard to make a stable step that’s very small and lightweight
