I am in a situation which will NOT resolve itself any time soon and therefore I am forced to sell off a bunch of my projects,
My 1953 Fleetwood Canned Ham is still in the restoration process, but it is roadworthy to a point and I have ALL of the orginal tin, except the roof from the front window to the rear window. This piece was SO bad it could not be salvaged.
I have rebuilt the frame and installed new leaf springs and mounts and the tongue jack.
I have rebuilt the side walls using the original wood that could be salvaged and added new where it was absolutely not able to be saved, this includes the outter edge which was destroyed by water leaks and water damage. I have pictures of EVERY step that I've done.
I have obtained a good title for this trailer and have sourced ALL of the Birch plywood and it is BEAUTIFUL. Most is still waiting to be mounted as the ceiling and just needs to be stained and put in place. There is a Brand New Air Conditioner and Refrigerator, which looks vintage but is Brand New.
Both walls are on and the floor is as close to the original as I could find, it is REALLY REALLY close to what was there originally and looks FABULOUS.
I have three brand new tires and wheels for it. I have wired the trailer for the tail/brake and turn signals and marker lights etc. I have marked out where the outlets and other 120 volt electrical wirig will need to go and have the outlets, lights and other stuff ready to install.
I have installed the sink and counter top mount and cabinets over and below the sink and have installed the refrigerator and microwave mounts and the cabinets around them. The rear bed is almost done and the benches in front are in progress. I can try to get pictures on here if there is any interest in this project.
If ANYONE is interested, let me know and I will do what I can to get some shots on here to show what is done...
My mother in law fell and broke her pelvis in August of 2022, she went to the hospital and was sent from there to a "skilled nursing facility" and was treated horribly, she came home 30 lbs lighter and near death...
We moved her into our master bedroom and have been taking care of her since, and then three weeks ago she fell again and broke her left hip, three pins later and the set in of dimentia and I cannot spend the time necessary to finish this project which now must be sold. I have ALL of the pieces to finish it and loads of cool old stuff to make it look like brand new inside, the skin is easily picked up and will have to be bought to finish the outside.
Please help an old guy out and find a place for this trailer, pics and price will be discussed with anyone interested...
Thanks, Dale...
