Hi Friends, I was a participant at the most recent Bonelli Bluffs vintage trailer rally in Southern California near the community of San Dimas just last weekend. There were supposed to be upwards of 300 trailers at this rally. You couldn’t beat the convenience of only driving 58 miles to the Rally. Translation: Gas cost low. I had never been to Bonelli Bluffs before. This was the third year for the rally, I believe, and I wanted to check it out. The grounds of this RV park are probably one of the prettiest I have been to. Just look at the pix. The place is huge. It’s separated by a short road maybe a quarter mile long between the top area and the bottom area. It takes about 7 minutes to walk from one area to the other and the grade on the road gets your heart pumping. It’s a moderate incline. Most of the “action” appears to be down on the lower area, but it’s also more tightly packed. Some sites had no room for putting up an awning they were so close to each other. Area A and B up top have lots of spaces between sites and there are number of spots that have majestic views of the San Gabriel Mountains. We had just had a storm come through the days prior to the event and it dumped snow in the mountains as you can see from the pix. It seemed that the top area spots were quieter overall. I was in the lower area and there were some Yahoo’s about 5 sites over from me carrying on until 11 p.m., but they did quiet down at 11 p.m. finally. There were lots of friendly folks as usual at this event and on Saturday morning, we had a car show. I have the utmost respect for these guys who can keep their engines pristine and grease free. Here is the link to the album I set up. flic.kr/s/aHBqjAz2Gs Get a cup of your favorite beverage and comb through the over 100 photos. Enjoy, Rod

I'm sick with envy.
Thanks for sharing the photos. Lately I really like these 2 door campers.
