You did nice work. The inside (facing the tire) looks sharp. Is the metal edge folded up? If not, you might consider that to prevent nasty cuts.

I think they look good. Agree with vikx. Might consider trimming them flush on the inside to keep them from holding water and rotting the wood (and preventing cuts)

The topside is folded up 2 inches so the tire doesn't drag on the asphalt paint if we have to change it. I put a lip on it so as it was stapled and screwed into place it dug into the asphalt paint to make a seal. The 45s are cut flush. We are hoping to not be in the rain too often. ... too often...
