For those Canadians in need of a propane refrigerator, the Norcold N305R is $759 Canadian on Amazon.ca this morning. That's half of what was it is anywhere else in Canada!

I realize that $759 seems ridiculously expensive. That said, if you plan on extended boon-docking (camping off grid) you will find that money well spent. This only applies to those of us who do a lot of traveling / camping. If you have no plans for extended off grid camping...don't waste your hard earned dollars. But, for those who long for finding solace, and peace of mind... away from the messed up and crowded world most of us live in, the advantages of the propane fridge are significant.
Having the ability to keep food and beverages safely cooled when out in the wilds is critical. With one of these reefers, you can freeze plastic containers of water to use as ice blocks in a cooler, allowing for more time camping in a remote place, without having to go searching for ice at the local convenience store that might be 30 miles away. There have been many times when we have been able to stay put in beautiful places for more time because of the propane reefer. What could be better than enjoying a cold beer, 6 days into a trip into a remote location?
