Hi Jerald, Welcome to the board. There were hundreds of trailer manufacturers during travel trailer hay day of the 40's and 50's. Some were here and gone tomorrow and only produced a few and went belly up. Some hung on and were more successful. What is left after all these years is only a fraction of what was produced. I think the reason no one has responded to your earlier requests for information on your trailer is that your trailer is that it came from a small manufacturer. You may have the last one. Who knows? I don't think your VIN is the actual VIN. It just seems too long. Generally it would be on the curbside of the tongue as pictured below or above it on the horizontal surface of the steel of the tongue. It is often covered in rust or paint. Care should be taken when excavating. Begin by using a wire brush and or paint remover. We really need pix to help you. Here is the tutorial. vintagetrailertalk.freeforums.net/thread/7276/add-photos-hosted-flickr-tutoriaCheck your private messages. Also, I consolidated your earlier posts into this thread to help. So, you may have seen some of your posts deleted. Rod

Not the VIN Butterfly. Looks like the A coupler part #. Peruse our Shasta VIN section to learn more.
