Where would be a good place to buy quality U bolts. I'm going to have fun getting one of these off without breaking them to get the correct measurement. A torch would be best but I don't have one. But, I have plenty of Kroil. Which worked wonders on the trailer hitch mechanism. Axle is a solid forged one piece and I don't know the year or make of the original camper. Just have the frame now to make a utility trailer out of it. What companies have good stuff? Axle Ubolt by Another Dude, on Flickr

Would you believe I just got one of them off without breaking? AREOKROIL for the win.

I've gotten ubolts from the place below. They custom make them to your specs.

Oh nice! What size are those? Mine are 13/16 nut and a 9/16 bolt.

Four campers! I wouldn't remember ether. I like how they have thick washers on them. Did the company give you a torque spec to follow?

No torque specification that I remember. What I liked about them is they recreated the original ubolts exactly.

Really, so you sent one in to them? They guided me with the measurements they needed and they were perfect.
