I want to replace the screws on the Hehr windows that I am rehabbing. These are the tiny ones that attach the glass frames to the crank housing. There are places for four screws, but only two are used. I know I can find these online, but I'd like to know the size and any other specifics that might help. They are under 1/2 inch long. 20210816_161909 by Joe Mirenna, on Flickr 20210816_162042 by Joe Mirenna, on Flickr

I’m not sure. I’d be at Home Depot looking at everything close to find them.

That looks like the end has been ground flat... Wonder if a sheet metal screw would work?

"Looks like the end has been ground flat... Wonder if a sheet metal screw would work?" Exactly what I did. I couldn't find window screws and had to fabricate them.

I think I know why those screws had their tips ground off flat. After disassembly and cleaning, and finally reassembly, one of those screws hit the glass from the side and cracked the glass. Fortunately I had an identical replacement pane to clean up and substitute.

Lucky to have extra glass. Thicker glass will cause cracks, learned that the hard way. Sometimes it's hard to find the right thickness.
