Replacement parts for Magic Chef burner 1969 17’ Aristocrat LoLiner When lit the front burner is not a blue flame. Erratic flame came out 2-3 inches from burner. The ring at the top of the burner comes right off with no resistance. It is quite deformed, looks melted. I can’t find any model number on the stove. I don’t know what this ring is called so I’m having trouble searching for a replacement. Thanks, Stan

Hey Stan,
Depending on where you live, I'd check with a local LP / propane company that offers service OR a local 'mom & pop' appliance store / repair place. I'm guessing it's not exclusive to Magic Chef like the more internal parts would be.
Depending on the color of your flame (blue or yellow), it looks like your air mixture is too lean (getting too much air) which caused the flame to be way hotter than it should be causing the aluminum to melt.
Just my opinion, didn't say it was a good one, Whitney

One thing to keep in mind: if the flame is weird or yellow, the burner may need to be air blown to clear debris. I had one where someone had melted plastic on the stove. Once the plastic was cleaned out, no more problems.
The burner distributor looks like it can be bent back in close to the correct shape. As long as it isn't burning from the lower portion, it should be OK.
To replace these, you may have to buy an entire stove.

Spiders love to build nests in the burner tubes. Causes all kinds of problems. Been there, done that.

Chris at trailertrasher1@gmail.com will probably have a few dozen lying around.
