Hey ya'll. I got the bebe out of the neighbors yard and into mine and up on cinderblocks before I replace the tires/wheels. It's missing the jack, though.
I'm looking to buy a 4 bolt round trailer jack from someone that would fit this period. I had bought the 3-bolt a-frame round Bulldog, but A) the bolt pattern is wrong for this trailer, and B) the tube is slightly too wide to fit through the existing hole in the tongue, and shaving it to the right size with a metal grinder is NOT an option. What are my other options here people?? THANKS!!

I just did this a couple of weeks ago on my 57 Pathfinder. I have the three bolt pattern and was told all of the newer tongue jacks are 2 1/4 inch diameter where mine was 2" so ended up opening up the hole as that seemed to be about the only option.

Not sure you will be able to find a "new" jack with that bolt pattern. Try trailertrasher1@gmail.com for a replacement. You might be able to repair the old jack; many are made to be repaired.
Side bolt jacks are not only ugly but aren't as safe in my opinion.

Not if you add a short frame crossmember behind the area of the side mounted jack connecting the two main frame members together. They use side mounted jacks on very heavy 10,000# commercial construction trailers. Remember, everything needs to work as a system. You cannot expect to use a 5,000 to 10,000 pound heavy duty jack on a flimsy 2" frame designed for a 1000# trailer. John

A Shasta this nice deserves a jack in the proper place. If you look, you'll find one.

John Sorry John, but a Shasta camper frame is a far cry from a 10k# commercial construction trailer. I've seen people use an old dual axle camper frame for a car hauler but I wouldn't recommend it... As always, just my thoughts, didn't say they were good ones.
