Larry.....sorry to hear about the flu brother. That's no good.........hope you feel better soon. My roof is still waiting for the weather to improve.......so it could be awhile. I think I just went over the peak of this flu Moses. Glad I'm not holding you up. Funny how things work out. It's been really windy every day this week that I have been sick. So it would have been tough doing a roof anyhow. If I had to be sick, this was the time to do it. Only thing worse would have been rain but we could use rain. I've now been sick since late Saturday night when I woke up couphing and sneezing. I don't remember the last time I was sick with the flu for this long. This one's a doozie.

I am holding myself up........lol. Hope you're feeling better soon brother. I got the front bottom panel re-installed today, as well as the new back end, but I fear I left too much overlap on the first side I did. Figures eh? The aluminum trim won't cover it, so I will have to fix that. I see the roof being a royal pain in my a** now maybe.......at least the cutting it to width part. Yikes........

Did you see how I cut the metal to width in my videos? The metal is tacked in place, then marked a half inch from the side of the trailer and then cut in place. You will need the type of cutters that I have. They are available at HD.
I'm feeling much better now and got a little work done yesterday. Roof goes on tomorrow Moses. You will see all including any mistakes I make LOL...

No sir......I've missed that somehow. I am very curious though.......I had a tough time getting the back panel cut neatly and correctly.......apparently I don't have the right tool. Do you have a link to this particular video? What kind of cutters are you using?
Glad to hear you are feeling better man......and I am looking forward to the rest of the story...... ;-)

Go to the website and look in the Shasta Series. It's listed in there.

No Problem Moses. I'm putting up a video now that shows the cutters. They are gray in color, have removable blades, are very lightweight and they are Made In The USA.... They run about $30 at HD. They make cutting metal a breeze....

Those are great and they are available in Straight, right, and left cutting I own all three and use them a lot. The straight cut will do everything but the right and left cut makes a few cuts easier.

It has begun.... I am doing in depth video on the entire install so it's going 3 times slower than it normally would. But it's going well.

My Wiss brand aircraft snips are something I use "every day". I only use the red (M1), and the green (M2), and never use the Yellow straight cut snips. I don't know what I would do without these two tools. Only buy the best, they last forever.
The reason you want both a red (right), and a green (left) snip, is so you can cut in both directions. They also keep your fingers up away from the sharp metal edges better than the yellow straight cut model.
