Stripped the old clear coat off my 1967 Kenskill this weekend and my polished aluminum siding still has one issue to deal with before I can polish, flic.kr/p/2jv2aEp

Is this a form of oxidization? Anyone know how to get rid of it? Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

That does look like oxidation. You might be able to sand it depending on how deep it is. The marks will probably always show but some people are OK with "beauty marks".

I would check your electrical system very closely, as electrolysis can cause this type of oxidation. Be especially attentive to the 110 electrical ground.
